Monument to tango

A sculptural tribute to Buenos Aires' most emblematic musical genre.

Present in tours

Created by the sculptor Estela Trebino and the engineer Alejandro Coria, this sculpture is a tribute to Buenos Aires' most emblematic musical genre. Measuring 3.5 metres high, it resembles the form of a bandoneon, one of the instruments most associated with tango. It was inaugurated in 2007, on Argentina's Music Day, November 22.
